About

The Civil Rights Defence Committee is a support group for those arrested and questioned during paramilitary Police raids on the October 15th and following days. The Police say further arrests are likely.

We are calling for:

* The defence of civil rights
* No terror charges
* Immediate bail for all arrestees (innocent until proven guilty)
* The right to a fair trial
* The withdraw of the Terrorism Suppression Act and its amendments
* Defend communities from para-military invasion

We are fundraising to provide financial support for defendants, their whanau and friends as well as for legal costs.

This website aims to be a central collection point for information on the court cases of all the arrestees and on support and solidarity events around Aotearoa / New Zealand and the rest of the world.
